Costume Renting:
We offer you a wide range of rental costumes. However, if you need a unique costume customized to your need, we are here to help. Your ideas and our experience can create a unique costume which can help you win any competition or audience.Our years of experience in this field help you choose the right style, color and material to fit your need and budget.
The process usually starts with a visit to the store or consultation over the phone. Once we confirm a design , a quote will be sent for your approval. A deposit of 50% is required to place the order. If we don't have stock of items you want, we would have to order the costumes come from India, and should be ordered at least a month advance. If you need a specific feature that may not be readily available, or if you need a large number of identical costumes, additional time may be required to have them made. On receipt of your payment, we place the order. The costume will be available to be picked or shipped on the due date.
When you receive the costumes from us, you can inspect them for any problems or discrepancies. We take complete responsibility for delivering the costumes on time. We offer 100% Satisfaction guarantee. If the costumes are defective or late we will happily take our costumes back and return your deposit.
Rental Policies
- Costume rental fees allow one (1) week use of costumes and accessories starting on Monday. Costumes can be picked can be picked up on Monday or later but must be returned by Monday after your event.
- Costumes may NOT be cut, dyed, painted or permanently altered without written permission from Albany Fashions. Tape, iron-on bonding web, glue or any other type of adhesives may NOT be used on costumes. All alterations must be sewn.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or to limit the number of items

Security Deposit and Refunds
- All rentals require a security deposit to be paid at the time of the rental. The standard security deposit is 100% of the total rental. For items to be shipped a minimum deposit of $150 is required.
- Deposits will be credited towards your final charges when the rental is complete. A rental is considered complete when all items are returned.
- There are NO REFUNDS for canceled costumes.
- Normal wear and tear on costumes is expected and won’t incur extra charges. Damage charges of $25 and UP will be assessed for permanent stains or any other damage that renders the costume not rentable.
- Major damage to costumes, including irreparable tears, major seam damage, damage from pins, or irreversible alterations will be assessed at the replacement value of the costume $75 and UP.
- Lost costumes will be assessed a lost costume fee of the replacement value of the costume $75 and up.
Shipping and Returns

- All shipping charges are paid by customer. Costumes will be shipped only if complete payment is received.
- There will be a $10.00 late fee, per day, per costume if the costumes are not mailed by the Monday after your event.
- Late fees will also be charged on costumes that are not received within 10 days after the event.
